A ƙasar Hausa akan laƙaba wa abin da aka haifa suna ta hanyar kula da yanayin sukunin da al’umma suke ciki. Wato idan haihuwar ta kasance a daidai lokacin da al’umma ke cikin wadatar arziki, kowa na cikin raha da nuna jin daɗi da nishaɗi ba matsawa. Inda kowa sai annashawa yake cikin yanayi na sakin fuska da ke nuni da walwala. Aukuwar haihuwa a irin wannan lokaci, shi ya wanzar da samuwar sunaye kamar:

a. Arzika: Wanda aka haifa lokacin wadata, kuma akan ce masa Wadata ko Yakana. Mace kuwa ana ce mata Arziki. A wasu sassan ƙasar Hausa da ke cikin Jamhuriyar Nijar, sukan danganta mai laƙabin Arzika da wanda mahaifiyarsa ta wahala wajen naƙudar haihuwarsa.

b. Barka: Wanda aka haifa lokacin wadata, kuma akan kira shi Albarka, mace kuwa a kira ta Baraka.

c. Goshi: Wadda aka sami wadata a lokacin haihuwarta.

d. Ƙosau: Shi ne wanda aka haifa lokacin kaka, wato yanayin da babu yunwa, kowa yana da wadataccen abinci.

e. Maikuɗi: Wanda iyayensa suka sami kuɗi ranar haihuwarsa.

f. Maisa’a: Wanda a lokacin haihuwarsa aka sami alheri ko kyauta daga al’umma. A wasu ƙasashe kuwa, shi suke kira Mainasara.

g. Shawai: Shi ne wanda aka haifa a lokacin da al’umma ke shan wuya (wahala). Wato, yayin da al’umma ke cikin matsi (halin ƙaƙa-ni-ka-yi). Ga al’ada, macce da namiji na karɓa sunan. A wasu wurare akan kira shi Sha-wuya.

h. Yalwa: Wadda aka sami yalwatar abinci a daidai lokacin haihuwarta.
