Bahaushe kan yi la’akari da halin da jinjiri ya tsinci kansa a tsakanin iyalinsa bayan an haife shi, na rashin uwa ko uba, wajen sanya wa jinjirin suna. A sakamakon wannan falsafar ce aka samar da sunayen kamar haka:
a. Abaici: Wanda aka haifa bayan
rasuwar mahaifinsa. A wasu sassan garuruwan ƙasar Hausa ana kiransa da sunaye nau’i-nau’i da suka haɗa da: Mayau, ko Maida, ko
Audi ko Baita ko Baitu. A ƙasar Ɓurmi (Bakura) akan ce, Kamaye. Mace kuwa ana kiran ta Baito. A
wasu sassan kuwa sunaye kamar: Baita, da Baitu ko Audi, sun kasance na tarayya,
wato ana kiran namiji da mace da su, (CNHN, 2006 p. 320)
b. Ɗanmaraya: Wanda iyayensa biyu suka rasu
tun yana yaro ƙarami.
c. Tallafi: Wanda mahahaifiyarsa ta rasu (mutu) ta bari bayan an haife shi, tun yana jinjiri. Mace kuwa ana kiran ta Talle. Wasu ƙasashen kuwa Talle yana matsayin suna na tarayya, musamman a ƙasar Faki da ke cikin Lardin Zazzau.
