Brief About Prof. A.M. Bunza
Born on 1st June, 1962 in Unguwar Malamai Bunza, Bunza L.G. Kebbi State, Nigeria. Attended Bunza Town Primary School 1969-1975; Government College Sokoto 1975-1980. Obtained BA, University of Sokoto, 1985; MA, Bayero University, Kano, 1990 (upgraded to Ph.D.); Ph.D., Bayero University, Kano 1995. Diploma in Arabic, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, 2000; Diploma in Civil Law, 2001; Certificate in French, 2004. First appointment as Assistant Research Fellow, UDUS, 1st October 1987, rose to the rank of Professor, 2002. As of 2020, I have 33 years in the University services 18 of which are on the professorial chair. Served as Director, University Translation Bureau UNESCO Office1995-2000; Head Nigerian Languages Dept, UDUS, 1997-2002.
