Can a woman marry a man in the name of reverting him from Christianity to Islam?

𝑨𝑵𝑺𝑾𝑬𝑹❗️

Alhamdulillah, it is forbidden for a woman to make a ma from ahlul kitab unless he is a believer and a Muslim.

That is what Allah says in Ƙuran,

Al-Mumtahanah 60:10

O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine [i.e., test] them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give them [i.e., the disbelievers] what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation [i.e., mahr]. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them [i.e., the disbelievers] ask for what they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

 There is a Hadith in sahih Bukhari concerning the marriage of Abu Talha and Umm Suleym who was not a Muslim at that time.

Umm Suleym after death of Malik ibn Nadir that father of Anas Ibn Malik r.a, Abu Talha r.a at that time was a pagan but in love with umm Suleym

 He was rich and wealthy in Medina but umm suleym said before she marries him, he needs to accept Islam.

So the mahr was the shahadayn

This was the Hadith where one accepts Islam through love

But it is applied today, some schools say it is not allowed because today there is no trust as before.

The man might allure the woman to accept the Deen and after marriage turns his back from the religion and will turn her away too from practicing the religion and Islam too knows women are weak and men are head in matrimonial homes.

So it is not allowed by majority of scholars for a woman to marry in the name of converting the man to accept Islam
