Babban gurbin da aure yake da shi a al’adun Hausawa ya sa masana da manazarta da dama sun yi rubuce-rubuce game da shi. Yana ɗaya daga cikin batutuwan da aka fi yawan nazartar su a fannin ilimin al’ada. A ƙamusun Hausa (CNHN, 2006 sh. 22) an bayyana aure a matsayin “Dangantaka tsakanin namiji da mace ta hanyar shari’ah.”
Alhassan da wasu (1982 sh. 9) sun bayar da ma’anar aure da cewa “...
alaƙa ce ta haliccin zaman tare tsakanin namiji da macce.” Idan aka lura, wannan ma’ana ta yi
daidai da wadda aka kawo a cikin Ƙamusun Hausa na Jami’ar Bayero.
Da alama mafi yawan manazarta sun aminta da wannan ma’ana. Za a iya
fahimtar hakan yayin da aka yi la’akari da yadda ma’anar da Yahaya da wasu (1992)
suka bayar ta bi sahun waɗannan
da aka kawo a sama. Sun bayyana aure da cewa “... wata hanya ce ta ƙulla zaman tare tsakanin namiji da mace ba tare da iyakancewa ba, sai in
mutuwa ta raba wanda ake tabbatarwa ta amincewar ma’aurata da waliyansu da kafa shaidu.” (Yahaya da wasu, 1992 sh. 94).
Duk da haka, a cikin wannan ma’ana ta su Yahaya, za a iya lura da ƙarin
da aka samu wanda ya faɗaɗa ma’anar. Ƙarin ya shafi zayyano
wasu ƙa’idoji
da suke kai ga tabbatuwar aure, wato:
a.
Amincewar ma’aurata
b.
Amincewar waliyyai
c.
Kafa shaidu
Babu shakka wannan ma’ana ta samu tasirin addinin Musulunci. Abubuwan da
aka ambata a sama suna daga cikin sharuɗan cikan aure da addinin Musulunci ya gindaya.
A wata ma’ana da Muhammad ya bayar, an sake samun batun addinin Musulunci
kai tsaye.[1] Ya bayar da ma’anar aure
da cewa: “Aure wani zama ne halastacce tsakanin mata da miji wanda al’ada da
addini suka yarda da shi” Muhammad (2020 sh. 50). Duba da wannan za mu
fahimci cewa aure wani lamari ne na zaman tare da cuɗanya da juna wanda aka gina shi a kan
fatar ɗorewar
zamantakewa.
A tunanin Hausawan ƙarini na 21, ana iya cewa aure na nufin wata yarjejeniya ta musamman da ake ƙullawa tsakanin namiji da mace bisa wasu sharuɗa da ƙa’idoji da suka fara tun daga nema har zuwa ɗaurawa da tarewa da abubuwan da ke biyo baya da suka shafi zamantakewa a matsayin miji da mata bisa waɗansu ƙayyadaddun tanade-tanaden al’ada da addini.

Duk waɗannan
suna nuna yadda Musulunci ya yi tasiri ga rayuwar Hausawa. Ya yi tasiri ga
kowane fanni, har da al’adunsu da suka shafi auratayya.
