When I heard about the appointment of Professor Muhammad Bin Abdallah as the substantive Chief of Staff in the office of the current Deputy Senate President in the person of Sen. Barau I. Jibrin (AKA Maliya) I wasn't taken by surprise.
It is beyond any reasonable doubt that Prof.'s appointment does not come as a surprise, as it is just putting a square peg in a square hole, especially, going by his accomplishments as a lecturer from both Sa'adatu Rimi College of Education, Kano, and now, until his appointment, the prestigious Bayero University, Kano. His records in the afore-mentioned institutions x-rayed dedication, resilience, and hard work par excellence. Hard work, as they said, deserves recognition, certainly, this appointment is indeed a recognition heavily made by the distinguished Sen. Barau Jibrin.
Sir, we in Shanono Local Government Area in particular, and Kano North, in general, are very proud to have a person of blended experience both in federal and state civil service, and we wish to take this opportunity to look forward to laying our helping hands (when the need arises) to compliment the Deputy Senate President's effort to turn Kano North Senatorial District a new leaf.
Alhamdulillah, we indeed commend the effort of the DSP for taking this decision to appoint one of our own as his Chief of Staff. Prof. we wish you Allah's guidance and protection throughout your tenure in office.
