My guy told me how he bought 20 cups of rice for N50 per cup.
I couldn't believe him, “No dey lie abeg! a cup of rice wey I buy N200 yesterday!” I doubted him.
“I swear bro, I'm going there now sef, if you like, you can come along with me,” he said and I agreed.
Immediately, I went home and started calculating, “if this thing na true, be like I go buy am plenty ooh,” I said as I calculated N50×200 cups.
Without wasting time, I went inside and brought 10k from my wallet which is approximately amount for 200 cups and then, followed my friend to the market.
Getting there, I noticed that the rice seller was a little girl.
“Hey! shey your papa no dey around?” my guy whispered to the girl.
“yes, he's not around,” the girl replied.
The girl then asked me how many cups do I want, just as I answered, her Papa came out of nowhere.
“200cups na 40k, sir” her Dad said to me.
“But sir, your daughter say na N50 per cup,” I uttered.
“What!!! I thought I've warned you to stop selling things you don't know their price!” he shouted.
The little girl: No papa, it's the rice which was inside that big bag you said I should throw away that a lot of rats died inside it.
Immediately, my guy fainted.
